This bass is one outof a series of instruments which the firm Gewa offers with the name "Gewa Studentbässe" (Gewa student basses).
It is built in the workshops of the romanian violin-maker Andreas Zeller, and was in traditionell manner labelled 'Gewa Instrumentenbau, Mittenwald - Adorf' and 'Handarbeit aus Mittenwald' (handicraft from Mittenwald) by Gewa.
